Because of that he was called ?Morocho del Abasto?, as a recognition for his amazing talent for music there is a street in Abasto called ?Carlos Gardel? and a monument erected in his memory. Abasto was the most popular neighbourhood in the 20? and 30? because of Tango Music. It is near Once neighbourhood and has a large Jewish community living there. Abasto is also located near the Centro area and its main Avenue is Corrientes, where you can find the most important theatres in Buenos Aires. In Abasto there is a lot of Tango schools and Tango dancing clubs. In this area you can also find one of the most important Shopping malls of the city: Abasto Shopping Mall.
